Defiance Photography is looking for $100k in startup capital so that we can expand our Retail business. Defiance Photography is located in Baraboo, WI and currently has gross sales of $250k or Less. Below, I have included some other important details about the funding that we need. Defiance Photography is primarily interested in these funding sources, but will consider all inquiries: - Equity Funding (Venture Capital, Angel, Private Equity, etc) Once fully funded, we intend to use this capital for these purposes: - Operating/Growth Capital (Payroll, Sales & Marketing, etc)
Defiance Photography LLC is an established photo service
company, formally located in Grand Lake, Colorado. Since the loss of our lease
in Grand Lake we have relocated to The Wisconsin Dells area in Wisconsin. With
the state of the economy being as it is, we are having a difficult time of
re-establishing our business. We would dearly love to return to a brick & mortar
business. We are, at present, researching areas that would be pristine as well
as profitable. As we are foremost landscape photographers, we do require living
in a rural area and not a city. We bring to this business a multitude of
talents, including, but not limited to, business management, excellent customer
service, honesty and professionalism. We are a mature couple and lend our years
of life experience to everything we do with zest and competence.
We are open to any type of venture
capital, whether it be a short term loan, gift, or partnership. We have past
records that show numbers that pertain to the operation of this store.
We have a spread sheet containing the projected
budget for
2008 (available
here), and at the time of losing our lease we we're meeting these goals
We are looking for a working partner or
silent investor that might also be looking for a short term or long term
relationship. In a short term relationship we would prefer a one or two year
agreement with an equitable return on your investment. A long term situation
might include a working partner or one who has a business that wishes to expand
with us. It is our belief that this current economic situation is short term,
but with proper customer relations and advertising we can be immune to all but a
complete economic failure. The location of the new store is open to discussion.
We find we do best in tourist areas with a close metropolitan population base
from which to draw.

Key Risks
Due to the softening of the economy we believe that 2011 will hold
to the numbers in the financials. We will focus on photography as the
overhead will be low, with a higher return. At present the photo
inventory is approximately $6000.00 in printed material, and the
mechanical infrastructure is in place. The figures in the protected area represent the old store and it's
operation and are variable, depending on a new store and overhead,
etc... The figures represent an outline, as to the requirements that
will be feasible to the solvency of the new store. If it appears that
it won't work on paper we won't do it.
